Turn off Sitewide Tags on special blogs

Turn off Sitewide Tags on special blogs

If you want to turn off the post copy in the Sitewide tags plugin on a special site/blog, you can do it with a one line plugin as follows:

remove_action('save_post', 'sitewide_tags_post', 10, 2);

Install the plugin in the plugins folder and activate the blogs/sites you don't want the SWT plugin to copy posts to the tags blog. In other words, it excludes those blogs from showing up.

    Simple and great little tweak!

    Thanks Ron!

    Very slick. I assume you simply replace the last number with the site ID.

    It worked for me.

      It likely worked, but just as a reference for the future: those last two numbers represent priority and accepted number of arguments, in that order. So while changing that last number likely won’t screw it up or anything, it’s also an unnecessary step :).

      The codex page on remove_action explains it better: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/remove_action

        Thanks – I was wondering.

        Do we know, is there a way to specify one certain site id so it wouldn’t publish to the sitewide tags blog?

        Any help is appreciated.

          Did you read the post? It explains exactly how to do that.
