Freelancers

It’s hard to find good help these days, so I put out a call and whipped up this page for people looking to find paid help and support for WordPressMu. I’ve tried to limit this list to those that I feel comfortable recommending their skills. If you work with WPMU and would like to be listed here, contact me with your information.

Incsub - The big guys, the cream of the crop. If you have enterprise needs, a big idea, or just want the very best on a large-scale, stop here.

Ron And Andrea - This would still be me, as well as my coding husband, and eventually I will transfer my consultancy page over to that site. We do it all, on a smaller scale.

C-Net Consulting - Installs under various setups, troubleshoot, recommend plugins (and install them and instruct people how to use them) and “tweaking” plugins.

Barry Getty Email: barry AT clearskys.net, aka cafespain in the forums. Based in Europe (generally in Spain, but do move around every now and then).

WordPress MU based Experience: I’ve been developing plugins for and systems based on WordPress (and WordPress MU) for over two years, before that I used other php frameworks such as Codeigniter so have a habit of coding with an MVC approach. I’ve been coding in PHP for approx 6 years and playing with MU before the version 1.0 release, Prior to that I was a bit of a Windows boy and very ASP and Sql server based. I used to work with and administer massive replicated SQL servers and systems at the British Tourist Authority (now Visitbritain.com )

My main areas of expertise are databases, coding, plugins and troubleshooting the MU system. I can do installation and installation troubleshooting BUT I am not totally confident of my abilities with the Linux operating system and haven’t really used Windows in anger for over 4 years.

At the moment I am contactable most week days (still waiting on phone line installation in new apartment), but hopefully will be back fully online within the next few weeks.

Rates: I prefer to quote on a per job basis, rather than hourly, but can provide an hourly rate if required. I do tend to reduce my rates for interesting or exciting projects though :)

Brian Freeman - evilkarma [AT] gmail [DOT] com. Can build plugins, hack the core, troubleshoot installs. [anything technically challenging] knowm as MrBrian around the forums.
