Consultation

PLEASE NOTE: I am not taking on any new clients over the summer. Thanks for you understanding. This notice will be removed when I’m free.

I am available for paid consultation work regarding WordPress and WordPressMu. This can include, but is not limited to the following:

- installation
- customization
- recommendations
- training
- some design
- plugin tweaks & integration
- answering questions with detailed step-by-step answers

Hourly rates are $35/hour or $250/day, although I can quote fees per-project. By day, I mean 8 hours - give or take - spread out over a few days. Small plugin jobs usually run around $50, depending. I prefer paypal, with half up front and the remainder on completion. My normal working hours are 12:30am-4:30pm AST (one hour ahead of EST, 4 hours ahead of PST) Monday - Wednesday + Friday with occasional but limited weekend work. I do work from home, and I do have a family to look after as well.

Sample prices:

1. Basic install: I set up and configure your server and install the latest WPMU release. No frills, nothing extra, $250. I hand over all the install passwords you need, explain the software, direct you as to what needs to be done next and instruct you (lightly) as to how to do it.

2. Extra Installation: Same as above, plus I install available plugins and themes depending on your needs, help you pick out a theme for the home page and add features to it, so your site is ready for users. You also have my attention for the week. $300

3. Custom Theme: You provide me with a PSD, or a sketch on the back of a napkin and some details, I build you a theme for the main blog & home page. $200. (Usually takes about a month - longer if you’re not sure what you want or you change your mind.) If you need extra features, see #4.

4. Custom plugins: Need cool features for the home page that aren’t currently available anywhere? $100 and up, depending on complexity. You can ask for a quote. :)

5. Upgrades, site conversions, special cases - If you’re upgrading from one small recent version to the newest, that is $150. If it is an old install (pre 1.2.5) that will be $250. Everything else is likely to be $300 and up, please email to discuss your needs.

For graphic design and branding, I have people I can refer you to that I work with. Their costs are seperate.

    Hello, first sorry bad english, i installed wpmu in my root http://www.desoriano.com, i have the admin and password, i did some users and i could activate the accounts but i cant see any blog, it is like the directories are not created, i also cant see Site News, and everything, it always the same: 404 not found. can you help me? visit my site create a account and you will see, plz i need help, kisses.-
